Sealed TomaHawk Coupling
A new Oil sealed drive coupling is currently being tested. This drive coupling is completely sealed and pressure balanced for extended life. We hope to have completed the testing phase in the near future and proceed with the final design and manufacturing of the coupling.

Rental Motors
We have recently added our new “Super Hawk” series motors to our expanding motor fleet. These motors feature ultra high strength external motor housings, including the stator and top sub, larger and stronger drive couplings and longer lasting thrust and radial bearings for extended motor runs. These motors are currently available in 9 5/8” OD only. See Rentals and Service for more information on TomaHawk rental motors.

Talon II Adjustable Housing
The Talon series adjustable housing has been re-designed to offer increased performance and durability over the previous model. Like the original Talon ABH, the talon II still offers the same simple adjustment procedure, with the exception of the torque sleeve now being located on the upper housing. By moving the torque sleeve to the upper housing, wear on the leading edge of the torque sleeve, caused by use in hard formations, is minimized. But, the most dramatic improvement over the previous model, was integrating the wear pad with the alignment ring, which allows for easily replacing wear pads when they become damaged or worn and eliminating costly repairs or replacement of the entire upper housing.
